A floral garden party wedding at Crystal Bridges Museum, through the lens of a film camera.
I had the opportunity to be a part of the BEST wedding I've ever been to... my SISTERS! It was a day that we had talked about for years and to see her vision come to life on that day, was nothing short of magical. If floral garden party met a Monet painting, it would be the Garwood wedding. As maid of honor, I took the hat of official photographer off for the day and got to be fully present as sister, but that didn't stop me from sneaking in some film photos throughout the day. Let me tell you, I'm so thankful I did because I got to capture the day as imperfectly perfect as it was.. the real, the raw, the messy, the highs, and the lows. From the getting ready in a museum to the fire department being called, we captured it all. That's what I love about film on wedding days, you get one take to capture the genuine moment, as is. Each film photo holds a story, a memory captured, a conversation had, a euphoria felt that will forever take me back to the day. If this resonates with you as much as it does for me, I would love to chat. Come say hi!
xoxo, Emma
